The standard defines the contractual guidelines for the verification of sound pressure levels, induced by technical systems and technology components of equipment in continuous and discontinuous functioning, exclusively in the areas served by them.
It also describes the procedures for measuring the sound pressure level and characterization of acoustic environments served for contractual references verification.
The methods of measurement apply to equipment with continuous and /or discontinuous operating cycle whose reference is defined by contract or, in the absence of these references, is described in Appendix B of the UNI EN ISO 16032.
